My own Spyderco ad
I received a good response from scanning and posting the old Spyderco ads and I really enjoy taking photos of my knives. I slapped this together with Photoshop. Let me know what you think. It aint great but I think it's pretty good.

Hey ThinkOfTheChildren :
I LOVE IT! Only I got 2 "banner ads" with it and tossed off the forum ( strange! )How
about this for an improvement? :
Your Family : C41 "Native"
Your Community : C45 "Rescue"
Your COUNTRY : C36 "Military"
( too predictible? )

Thanks for the compliments, fellas! Coming from this gang, it means alot.
ATE,
I could redo it with separate knives, but part of the pitch is the versatility of the Perrin. Today I used mine for gardening duty, yesterday for IWB carry while walking at night, and the day before that for some kitchen work
Oh, and I'm sorry for the banner ads. That's the price of free web-hosting from tripod.

Excellent work, TOTC! By the way, I was checking out your site the other day, and I believe I have a ad that you don't. Have you seen the Centofante ad that ran in Blade back in 2000? If not, I'll hunt down the month & page so you can add it in.
It's an odd little ad, comparing the purchase of to a good car. If I remember correctly, the tagline was "A work of art you don't have to garage!"
Keepin' it real...real sharp, that is.

Sword and Shield,
All of the ads I have on my site are from the Spyderco Story. I don't really have too many back issues of Blade sitting around but if you could send me a scan of the ad I would gladly put it on my site. Sounds like a cool ad!
Dijos,
Thanks! Now that you mention it, with all the avatars I've been through on the various forums, I should put up a page on my site dedicated to showing all of them that I've used
And, yes, everything you see in the photos is in my home.
Left frame:
ASP Key Defender + photon II & III + Ladybug + keys
Timberlands
Surefire Commander 8AXHA
Whatever Nokia that is that came with my calling plan
all sitting on some good ol' denims
Middle frame:
Pro-Ears Pro-tac chopside electronic earmuffs
Mossberg 500 (20 ga) with some Federal 3-Buck
Glock 17 with some Speer Golddots
all sitting on American Body Armor level II concealable vest
Right frame:
Random camo gear and some good braided rope
sitting on an Eagle A-III Assault Pack
Sorry, I'm a gear junkie and I have to show off my gear every now and then
samo,
Thanks!

TOTC, unfortunately with the closing of the Uni year, my scanner access is nil.
I'll root through my collection and post the page and month, maybe another forumite is scanner-endowed.
