1. Smooth a la deacon.
2. Full scales, but if you must have bolsters, FRONT BOLSTERS only.(less weight)
3. Flat grind.
I second this. :D

I vote notched, full scales (unless you can come up with bolsters more resistant to scratches), and flat ground.

1. Wharnie ala Deacon
2. High-polished bolsters like you see coming out of Santa Fe...
2a. How about some smooth recon stone, smooth bone, or other exotic inserts?
3. FFG

Also, maybe a little bit bigger lanyard hole so we can get some other types of cord or leather through it.

There have beensome suggestions for a clip, especially because of the larger size. I would like to hear more opinions on the addtion of a clip?

Initially i would say no clip, but being larger maybe a tasteful clip would suit this knife....something like the Kopa had.

1. Notch.
2. Bolsters.
3. Hollow ground.

A low profile wire clip wouldn't look out of place on larger Kiwi. Plus, if someone wanted to be clip-free, they could just take it off.

I think that a small and subtle clip might be ok...but anything like the usual clips would kind of ruin the knife a bit. maybe a deep carry attached to the end of the knife would be ok. And maybe a slightly shorter one too.

the kopa clip might be appropriate.

I would also be interested in seeing a full scale of whatever material (except cf :p )

Either no clip, or only single bolsters and the clip on the end.

If the knife is Delica sized, I would day add a wire clip, low ride like on the Caly 3.5

Agreed. And at most use only a wire clip.

Doesn't look the same without the notch.

Bolsters do make it a gents folder. Like it.

It won't be a hard user so ffg to make it slice.

maybe a clip that is like this...not exactly like this, but a deep clip that is short. A wire one would be good.

A smallish clip such as on the Pride, would be nice. How's that for an obscure Spydie reference? Or a nice wire clip would be fine.

After some thought, I felt like a full G-10 handle with wire clip would be cool. Now admittedly, this would put the knife square in the middle of a crowded market, from a Spyderco sense.

Heck, just make a Manix sized Kiwi... That would be cool!!!

Notched, like original

If double bolstered, no clip, but with slightly larger lanyard hole.
If front bolstered, then with clip, but must be classy like kopa or wire.

Flat ground preferably, or at least high hollow grind.
