Try also www.surefire.com The smallest is a E1 Executive and it's bigger brother the E2 Executive. There are now an E1e and E2e out... updated versions with upgraded pocket clips. Great lights- the Spyderco of illumination!

Jeff,

You may also wish to puruse the Surefire website. It's at: www.surefire.com

Or, what comes up in my browser window when I type that in is:

http://www.surefire.com/cgi-bin/main.pl ... sesent=0,0

You could try either.

Jeff.

I myself carry illumination of a "Gamma Ray"
from J&L Self Defense Products <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>; the same
illumination as a Photon for about 1/2 the
price ($10)<img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> I got mine in blue <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

I know J Smith has his answer already but to address some of the slams on Surefire.

Yes they are pricey (do the surf work and you can get the price down).
If you want to turn night into day nothing else (for the size) will do.

I use a Streamlight Baton light for EDC (3 LED, white, lithium bats, last **** near forever) but it won't exactly knock your socks off at night.

The SureFire is meant for and was designed for serious social ocasions. Cheap knock offs will save you money and put your butt in the sling when you rely on them.

Some of your beefs on SureFire are the same uninformed people have about Spyderco

I thought a photon light was good enough and is for most things I use a small light for but after seeing this surefire at the gun show Sat I had to have one.

$70 + certainly isn't cheap for a tube, light bulb and a battery, but what about $70 + for a sharpened piece of metal sandwiched between a couple pieces of plastic? Like a fine knife is to a knife collector, a high quality flashlight is the same to a "flashaholic" (what flashlight collectors call themselves). Quality tools don't come cheap. A professional mechanic is more likely to own a set of Snap-On's than Craftsman. And, I think it's safe to say that there are plenty of 'professionals' who's lives and livelihood are as dependent on a good flashlight as a good knife.

Jeff,

I picked up an E1e and an E2e recently. Both are great, but I definitely like the E2e better. It's a bit easier to carry (because of the length of the barrel, it clips onto pockets easier), and it's brighter, but sacrifices battery life. I'm thinking of picking up another E1e for the car, soon, tho. Great lights. Hope you enjoy!
