I've made several on-line purchases that say sales tax applies if you live in certain states and they are listed. I seem to remember several years ago this was a fairly big issue because the sales tax wasn't being collected for inet purchases like it would have been if you bought the item in a store. When you buy something in a store and pay sales tax someone gets that money and it isn't the store. That means someone is loosing a lot of money in the long run.HistoricalMan wrote:In some states if you live in the same state as the online store you are required to pay sales tax.

Yeah, it's usually only if the company you're ordering from is in the same state that you are. I hate that Best buy will charge you tax no matter what state you're in, because they are in all states.
Why would I order from someone who is more expensive than someone else? =\

Plus 400 more at a shot possible?
Still Thinking..............
