Chris,

Glad you like your sheaths! They are actually made of Concealex, which for what I try to accomplish, works a little better than kydex. The release on the draw is just as important as the tension holding the piece, especially for serious work, and Concealex lets me get a crisper, no-drag release, while holding just enough tension. I look at both the Perrin and Lum as MBC peices, so set them up for Drawpoint, but an optional sized "G" clip is available. SFO stocks a number of my designs and has access to all.

Mr Sastre, I tried to call you and order a sheath for one of my Lums. I must have the wrong number. I need a left handed sheath that will mount horizontally. That leather one that came with the knife is not working right for me.

I tried to call and order a sheath for my Lum, but I must have a wrong number. Can the sheath be made left handed and mount horizontally to be worn small of the back? This will allow me to draw with my right hand into an icepick grip.

br44,

The hardware on all my sheaths is reversible, so the user can get side of carry with the desired edge orientation. I can make a "G" clip or attach a small TekLok to give you horizontal carry for the Lum Tanto. Phone number on the website is correct (www.rivercitysheaths.com). If you plan to use a credit card, contact SFO - I'm not set up for them.

Hmm... I keep on forgetting to send you some email, Mike, about putting in an order for the Perrin sheath. I think I'll send it out now.
