Southard Regrinds: Stretch ZDP-189 FRN and Lava Wharncliffe

#1

Post by Blerv »

Hey guys.

Just got some regrinds back from Brad. My bro had two Aquasalts and a Sage2 done which look amazing (I'll see if I can coax some pics out of him).

Here are mine.

Stretch ZDP-189 FRN

The thinness behind the edge is crazy. It doesn't look too much thinner but it really slices. :D

I never carried my Lava because frankly the belly made it frustrating unless extremely sharp....so....

Nice Blerv! I've been thinking about doing something to make my Lava more utilitarian for my needs and that might just be the ticket! Nice work, Brad!

That Lava looks crazy awesome. Mine is similar to what you originally described. I am thinking the edge to handle angle seems to be a little of a disadvantage, but it looks like it will work fine.

I want to send some knives out, but I've been taking my time getting the money together. It's like I want to send 3 or 4, but when I add it up, it seems like a lot.
