Great pics as always Wouter. Keep 'em coming. I like that the D'fly Salt has a high hollow grind. That Des Horn model is definitely a great looking gents knife. Can't wait for the FRCP Manix 2. Its the first Manix I've had any interest in.

The blue FRCP Manix 2 is really cool, so i know it will be in vain to wish for the Clear version

Wouter, can you give us any ideas how the LT2 compares to the original? :o

While previous concept models differed a bit in profile of the LT1, this LT2's profile closely resembled the LT1. The current concept model uses a (variation of?) the Reeve Integral Lock, but it could still change since it's far away from production. The switch to a 'new' concept model for the LT2 came from new testing methods and results. The end goal is to get the strongest possible lock for the LT2's intended purpose.

No absolutely not, if I could I'd show them without a second thought. These models are concept models. Spyderco doesn't want to show them for two main reasons: they are far from production and they want to prevent us from harassing our dealers for a knife that doesn't and possbly will not exist, and then there are copyright-type issues to consider - we would not want some Chinese company copying a design from pictures and such and market them (and therefore ruining the market) before the Spyderco model is ready.

Ed has said it best! Though only recently active on the Boards, I've been a lurker since waaaaaay back in April 2001. I've grown to wait with eager anticipation each of your A'dam show pictures and its been fun to watch your skill become so refined over the years. I'm an amateur photographer myself, but all my work is landscape and people. I'm quite envious of your still-life skills!

Thanks for all the hard work! Your pictures act as pre-catalog photos for me, adding items to my list before they're even "in the wild". I'm sure Spyderco thanks you, too! :D

I held the Dialex Junior and even without any jimping, due to the handle design, it isn't going anywhere,,, I found it a bit odd looking with the broad blade direct next to the thinnest part of the handle when it's in open position, but it felt really good in hand,,, mid-size blade,,, good all-rounder imho,,,

A new coat for an old friend; the stainless steel Ladybug 3 with a tattoo. It is a nice graphic and apparently, the technology with which the Japanese manufacturer did it, is a secret. I like the vibrant colors and I’d love to click one on one of my Victorinox Classics (I always carry two of those together) and see how the tattoo holds up in daily carry and use.

Thanks Ed, I'm happy with the way the pics turned out. However, it's probably the same with making knives, the more you do it, the more you see how things could be better. I'm not quite happy with some of the colors; steel is actually very hard to shoot with artificial light.

I don’t think I ever will become a fan of the Dyad design, for the simple fact that a left-hander like me can’t one hand open the blades. Fans of the design should welcome this sprint with open arms though. I liked the smooth action of the blades. The shade of blue on this model reminded me of the blue sprint FFG Meerkat. I’m sure these will vanish quickly from dealers’ shelves.
