SOLD! :D

I really like it with the black FRN, too.

I agree ... I know it sounds silly but I have no Spydercos in black FRN (because most of my stuff tends to be in the SLIPIT range) and I'm kinda feeling left out :D But this Squeak is ringing every bell from ergos to handle materials to the blade steel ... all I need to know now is when and how much? :D

That said, does anyone know if there will be other colours in the Squeak range?
My spydies: Squeak, Tenacious, Terzuola, D'Allara, UKPK CF peel-ply pre-production, UKPK CF smooth pre-production, UKPK G10 orange leaf-blade, UKPK FRN grey drop-point, UKPK FRN maroon leaf-blade, Bug ... all PE blades :)

Thank you very much for all of your hardwork, Wouter. Your photos are gorgeous, as always.

The knife that I know I will be picking up is the Chaparral. It is the closest model to the Caly 3, my favorite model-to-date. That twill CF just sets it over the top.

The Dragonfly 2 in H1 looks great as well. Although I wouldn't pick one up for myself, I see myself getting some as gifts for others - especially anglers. I would like to see a serrated model, though.

Although I have no real interest in the Native, I must admit that the fluted titanium design is jaw-dropping. If Spyderco used the same design on the second iteration of the Chaparral, I'd pick one up in a heartbeat.

I think the fluted titanium is going to be the "new carbon fiber"...it's going to be the next hot craze in handle material/treatment and everybody is going to demand it in all the big selling knives.

I can't stop thinking about a Delica/Para 2/Caly 3.5 with it :D

When I saw the steel, I too thought that it may be made in Italy (seeing as how the Hossom series used this steel and were made there). Then I remembered Sal had posted this:
sal wrote:I believe our next Mule Team is M390.

It's a nice steel and I'm sure we'll be using it for some stuff. We met with Bohler Uddeholm a litle while ago and they have some nice product. I'm a bit of a steel whore and we offer all the good steels we can find.

They also have N690Co that they'll be stocking here in the US, with some competitive prices.

So, it is very possible this could also be a US-made knife as well.

Squeak looks like my perfect travel Spydie. Small, non threatening and slip it. Was going to go with Honeybee, but like the form factor of Squeak better!

I've always wanted a Dyad. Anyone know the length of that one closed? Hopefully not too long with no clip. :D

- best wishes, Jazz.

That Ladybug is really nice. Curious as well on how well the 'tattoo' holds up.

Given that it's a Sprint, I imagine it's the same size as the original Dyad Jr. Lightweight. 3 3/32 closes with two 2 1/4" blades.

I do believe that Sal stated that the Squeak was coming from Italy. Maybe it was the Urban FRN.

Dyad Jr. Sprint looks nice. Squeak is interesting as well. It'd be nice if I could replace my FRN UKPK's backspring with the new one.
