...it was just short of $100 shipped. :)

btw i scored a third re grind one from someone here which he already opened.

I'm still waiting for the enduras to be back in stock. The trainer does look pretty cool though.

Unfortunately, the trainer isn't wrapped or signed. It was in a standard Spyderco box. I picked one up last January when they were relased along with the first modified Enduras.

While I don't live in an area that limits blade length, these offer the collector something to search out and enjoy.YMMV.tom.

Congrats man, you'll love it. It's amazing how the blade change affects the way it looks and the rounding and polishing on the thumb rest is crazy smooth. I have mine in my pocket now.

jackburton9807 wrote:I caught wind of these a while back and withheld the info here on the forms, all apologies. I waited too long to jump on the last one and missed out, shame.

So, since I have taken the end off of plenty of knives to meet legal limits here in CO I have gotten reasonably good at it. What I have determined that I am not good at is "lapping the action", thus my post regarding that topic a few weeks ago. I just picked up another Endura today and am going to give it another shot.

FYI; if you decide to apply polishing compound to the action DO NOT work it in by taking the blade all the way to lock engagement. That's what I did the 1st time and it resulted in tons of play along the Y axis when open. However, it does move like s**t through a goose now. Tonight I'm going to give it another shot and stop just short of lock up and hope for the best. After that; I'll likely just buy one fro Staysafe like I should have the 1st time.

looks like one of these babies has surfaced on the second tier.

all good
i hope

the Endura seems like a" big bad boy" compared to my Delica. :D
can you guys get me straightened out as to the merits of the big bad boy Endura, so i can go looking for one and ultimately enjoy the rewards.

there is a full moon this evening so i might be howling here all night ;)

I do suggest people who are needing such a knife and against a wall to seek out a custom option yourself. There are some very talented people who can do this type of mod, probably within your own town.

yes i can regrind the blade of the Endura to the desired length if necessary
i can regrind the Endura or the Delica . :spyder:
but i have no need for a shorter blade at this time. so..

anyway
pretty cool

Hello.
I want to show the Endura, bought in Moscow. It seems to be the party of 10 pieces specially for Russia. In general, the same as before, but Flat Ground Gray.
Sorry for my english :)

very nice knife. if they only made ten of them i am going to guess my chances of getting one is pretty slim. i do have one of the signature enduras though. congrats on your knife and your English is much beter than my Russian, so no apologies are necessary :)

Nice knives DerRock and I got your meaning just fine. Got me thinking of trying to score a Janich Endura.

Sorry for the zombie bump, but Stay Safe Media is now carrying the grey version of the "Jandura", just like the one pictured in DerRock's picture above. I don't know if these were just added to the site or if they've had them for a while, but this is the first time I've noticed the grey ones for sale.
