G10 Harpy - steel liners?

#1

Post by Shazam »

Anyone know if the G10 Harpy models had steel liners? I'm awaiting one to arrive but wanted to know if all models were lined?

No they are linerless.
We would rather be the knife in your pocket, because is "works" better, than the knife in your showcase, because it "looks" better.

The very first run of G-10 Harpies were linerless, The majority of G-10 Harpies produced did have liners.

Mine is single liner also. Don't think there are any with dual liners. They're all either like ours, or unlined. Can't recall seeing an unlined one, so assume they're even less common than the single liner ones.

Hurry, somebody mark that down,I was wrong (for those of you keeping track at home). :o :)

Even if you get one without liners you should be okay though because the screws go into the backspacer.

Thanks for the details guys. I bought an older (9/97) G10 Harpy online and wanted a good match for the Civilian that I received for Christmas. Should be a good match. Ill report once I get my Harp (and G10 rookie too!)

Just an FYI - the very first batch of G-10 Civilians had no liners as well.

The early G10 Harpy that I received has no liners. Its a good ATS-55 model and the early G10 is in great shape!

here it is with the G10 Police and some stainless models I recently picked up:
