New Paramilitary 2 with STR Low Rider Clip

#1

Post by hiredgun »

Hello forum mates,

I finally rec'd my long awaited Paramilitary 2 and when I knew it was shipping, I contacted STR (Steve Rice) and had him make a low rider clip for it. Since he already has a Paramilitary 2, he didn't need the knife sent to him. He whipped it out to my specs and sent to me in less than 48 hours. That's great customer service. And yes, that is purple.

I don't really care for the color but it is still a very nice clip...

I think I would prefer a clip that mimicked the factory clip, but just made the knife ride lower. Putting personal preferences aside, I think your clip looks functional and well made.

I think it looks quite pretty. I wonder what other sort of work STR does....

I love custom clips.

Looks very functional. I am not a fan of the color personally, but different strokes for different folks.

STR does really good work. I'll be grabbing one of his clips for my new Blur, PM2 and probably one of his Ti mini pry bars.

Looks great! Out of curiosity, anyone know how he achieves that color on the metal? (if thats not hi-jacking the thread to much :) )

Nice clip! I have been thinking about one for my Para2, due to arrive this week! I would like it to ride lower in the pocket. I just spent my spare cash though, on a nice anniversary gift, so it will have to wait.

Sweet! Steve does excellent work!
Here's a clip I had him put on a Damascus Mcusta for me.
The pic was taken before I sent it to him, but when it was returned, the work was flawless.

I asked the maker about a low rider clip for my FRN Delica in brown, and at the time he indicated he was unable to make a clip for the Delica. If I remember, he said the screw holes on the Delica clips are too close.

Hope he's found a way to make them now. Keep us posted.
