Question.
ok im going to get another spyder. and i dont know much about them so i need some opinions on what is the best one out and not to pricey. maybe under 100$
If you want a big cutter in a comfortable hand full, I'd go with Rayans selection of a Lwt Native, excelent steel.
If you want a pocket razor try the Lwt Calypso Jnr. Very sharp and flat ground for multi purpose cutting. You might have to shop around a bit as they were reciently discontinued, but it's worth it.
You might also look at the Lum Chinese Folder. Also flat ground and very stylish.
BTW
Welcome aboard.
Walk softly, carry a big stick.

The ones I carry all the time are the Native Lightweight CE, the Calypso Jr. LWT PE, and the blue Salsa PE. I use the Salsa all the time as a cook who cooks in front of customers. It's the least threatening knife anybody in The Market owns. I also use the Calypso at work, but it's a bit less friendly-looking. The Native I always keep clipped IWB, and if I draw that, something needs to be torn apart, particularly breaking down cardboard boxes. Rips through that cardboard like ordinary paper.
From time to time I also carry a large folder. I have an Endura Lwt PE clipped in my front pocket right now, but it's never found a real use, and I hope it never does. When dressing up, I carry a full-size Calypso in my sport jacket's inner pocket.
Any one of these is pretty good for everyday use. I'd recommend the Native Lwt PE (or CE if you need it for a hard job), the Calypso Jr. PE if you want a smaller knife, or the Salsa if you need a friendlier-looking knife for working around sheeple.
Wise man say, forgiveness is divine. Remember that when your <img src="http://www.spyderco.com/forum/spyder.gif" border=0> bites you!

Well, it would seem many of us are quite taken with the Native. And rightly so! Personally, I would have to agree with Blades- Go with a Vesuvius! Under $100, smooooooth action, lightweight yet solid, sleek, aerodynamic, 250 hp, 0-60 in 3.5 seconds.......Wait, disregard those last two- I'm getting carried away again. Anyway, try a few in your grip, see what turns you on most, I mean, feels best. Yeah, that's it.
