The SC36TIPG10 M4 Ti Millie retailed for $209.95.
(1) side of CF would raise the cost.
But I doubt it would really be all that much.
I would guess blade steel M4 V.S. S90v would be a wash.
I guess we will just have to see how the M4 version is received by the knife community. :)
To some, it is too much.
To others, its the bargain of the century. :p

Oops... :o I just voted for the butter knife...MCM wrote:The plastic butter knife steps down from the #1 position.......
The thing is, being on the list for the M-4 Military and already having the S90V CF Military means everything on that list overlaps with what I already have (fingers crossed Customs doesn't take my M-4).
I want a CPM S110V CF/TiRIL Military.
It's about time Spyderco got their hands on some of that stuff.

I like my current Ti Millie myself, and dont mind the extra heft. The only thing I would do would be to drill holes in the handle(ATR style), but not for the reasons most people think. Just simply to make it look "Techie". You could change the blade steel to whatever tool steel, stainless, or whatever for all I care. I think S30v is pretty good stuff myself. Some of that Damascus that Spyderco is using would be cool for a blade steel. Combine the Damascus with the drilled Ti and that would be just right for me. A little new school mixed with a little old school.

I had never even thought of that. This is very important to people who live near the ocean such as myself. It would make a really great dive knife I think.JNewell wrote:Well, whatever else is true, the plastic butter knife will be more rust resistant.
Does anybody know if we are talking about a folding butter knife or a fixed blade (assuming full tang?). I think full flat grind would be sick! It would make a crazy slicer.
Think of all the people who could now afford to join the Spyderco family.
BTW, does anyone else think Spyderco silverware would be hilarious yet awesome at the same time? I'm thinkin H1. OR PLASTIC :D

As long as it has a folding spork and a wave on it.Lostification wrote:I had never even thought of that. This is very important to people who live near the ocean such as myself. It would make a really great dive knife I think.

I agree!! I like both but the right handed Millie definitly feels comfortable left handedJNewell wrote:Actually, and I don't claim that anyone else shares this view, I find that the regular right-hand Military is more lefty-friendly for me than the left-hand model. This is big-time YMMV, obviously.

Unless I missed something, the question relates to a change in the G10 scale on the non-lock side of the recent Ti/G10/M4 limited run.Armalite Native wrote:Hang on a minute isn't Ti standing for Titanium? If thats the case wouldnt a change in handle material make it just another common military?
I would kill to be able to get my hands on a Ti - but none in stock in my country (and cant import them in).
