Spyderco PPT with blue G10!
Check out my modification to this PPT! This is my first time working with G10 so its a little sloppy but I achieved the desired look I suppose. I used a Dremel tool with a tungsten carbide bit to cut out the blank, then I used a sanding drum to shape the scale. Hopefully my next try will have a little better fit and finish. Let me know what ya'll think, and please, give me some tips and constructive criticism. Thanks.
That came out great! Are you taking orders? (kidding)

I researched what to use when cutting and everyone said that G10 will grind regular steel blades to a dull edge. I picked up a tungsten carbide bit intended for cutting tile and other ceramics. I suggest getting the router table attachment that Dremel makes; I didn't have one and I had to make a router table out of wood, which didn't make for a very accurate cut.tanrichguy wrote:Those really look good! Totally different look with the blue color.
Can you post a picture of the bit you used to cut the blanks? I'm trying to use a Dremel on a similar project and having some problems.
Cheers!
