Well I've been on vacation for a while so what have I missed?

Something happened to my 600 plus post count. Oh well, I guess I'll have to start over <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

Spyderco collector # 103

I was just seeing if anyone was paying attention.

This post is a hack! Sharp1 did not post it. He's not that cordial. Someone is biting-off more than they can eschew!

Dig: Sharp1 has never used an emoter in ANY of his posts. Why would he?

This smacks of having the MO of a child.

SAMO, you have been duped....Sorry.

The real Sharp1 can't come to the phone right now....

must keep moving....

The mystery continues... as for now, I shall speak of Sharp1 and our mystery poster as different people... so, Mr. Mystery Poster, explain me this.

If the reincarnated Sharp1 is a fraud, how would you go about explaining old posts with your blank screen name/location showing edits by Sharp1?

Keepin' it real...real sharp, that is.

Simple I suppose.

It is obvious that the new Sharp1 has just registered, because the old Sharp1 had 600 plus posts, like this mystery man. (<img src="tongue.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>)

And the edit dates are before April 17 or 16, whenever the new Sharp1 started posting.

Meaning that the new Sharp1 could not have been the one to edit those posts, unless he is the real Sharp1 and his post count was reset for some reason.

Hmmm...

Look at what I found:

<a href="http://www.spyderco.com/forum/Topic.asp ... >Un-edited mystery man topic</a>

and here's some back-up in case it gets mysteriously edited :-P

<a href="http://kraziekurtis.50megs.com/sharp1mystery.jpg">I took a screenshot of it</a>

Notice the "Hi Sharp1" by Lsaulog where the Mystery Man and I are the only posters...

Aaack! I have stumbled upon another mystery..where is Lsaulog?

S&S,
"One and the same",
ask me again and,
you'll drve SS-II insane...

KK has it deduced correctly. utterly correct. The emotors are a dead give-a-way as well. There is no mystery as to the true identity of Mr. Blank, or Mr.X, or by whomever's namesake I am currently hailed.

One of the initial posts on the "Where was I" thread addressed this and a forumite quessed correctly and I aknowledged same.

The "Mr. X" posting style is a form of forum form-merely a protest of all things turned ugly hgerein. Food for hungy minds-poison to those not waering chutes. As I suspected, the light upon "that" was brought to the fore front in due time. Patience is a virtue.

So the imposters now are proliferating.

And Krazie; yes, a fresh mystery thread will soon appear at a CRT near you...stand by

Samo, you were duped...sorry,,

have to get going...........

I know where you went and what happened to Lsaulog <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

You both went on a safari together. <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

<a href="http://www.spyderco.com/forum/Topic.asp ... on">Safari Theory Evidence</a>

OK OK let me explain.

There is mention of them going on a safari in that topic, so they did go on a safari. On the safari, sadly, Lsaulog was attacked by lions and Sharp1 tried to help Lsaulog.

Lsaulog remains hospitalizd to this date and is working on getting a lap-top in the hospital so he can post.

Sharp1's injuries were not as severe and he was released soon, but counting in the preparation time for the safari, and the safari, and the hospitilization, Sharp1 has been gone for a while, and somebody whom we refer to as Mr.X came and took his place.

<img src="tongue.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> <img src="tongue.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> <img src="tongue.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

BTW:I have Safari Theory Evidence back up too <img src="tongue.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

Guys,

Can we get this back on the topic? This is a forum for discussing Spyderco knives, and I haven't seen any of this in this thread or the other rather longer thread on this subject. So far everyone has been more-or-less civil, but this is a waste of bandwith. In the future please take these sorts of discussions into private via email.

Carlos,

The "long" thread you referred to contained some very pertinent criticism of the direction this discussion group has taken. If you are serious about wasted bandwidth why didn't you get rid of those bandwidth robbing signatures. The proliferation of bleeding peasants nearly caused me to leave this board for good and it was only Chinook's intervention that brought me back.

Hi Clay,

The problem is trying to be "reasonable." I haven't closed the other thread or anything, or this one either, but I personally don't see them adding value to the forum, JMO. I do have to try to keep the forum on more-or-less on track subject wise -- my obligation to Sal.

BTW: I did NOT edit the post above.

Hi Clay,

I wanted to add that I've sent Sal an email bringing these threads and your concerns to his attention. He has been very busy of late, and he is out of town again as we speak, but hopefully he'll be able to chime in himself sometime next week.

Fair enough Carlos, I understand the problems of being a fair and reasonable moderator. However there have been times lately when this board is more like a teenage chat room than the forum it was supposed to be. While I'm having a gripe, a thread on Case knives doesn't have much to do with Spyderco yet I see no suggestion that it shouldn't continue.

For the record I'll confess... It was I, Hoosierdaddy impersinating (I probably speeled that ronge) Sharp1. I already did in the classic "mystery thread".

Carlos,

You're talking about these particular threads "wasting Bandwidth" (not bandwith) boy do you even read any of the non-sensecal drival that's been on here lately???
It's just a few people letting you know that this forum does need some "Moderation". How bought "Moderating" the amount of KIDS under the age of 18!!!

I'm a kid, 36 years old, and I'll be the first to admit that I've screwed around here on more than one occasion. But I've also added insight to many a forumite, and also welcomed all new forumites when browsing threads. AND most IMPORTANTLY was the first one to stick up for Spyderco when somebody badmouthed Spyderco or the warranty dept!

So you can go ahead and edit this post so no one can read it... After all you have the power!

Just remember this!

BEING GOOD IS HAVING INTEGRITY EVEN IF NO ONE IS WATCHING!!!

You guys will never forget... HOOSIERDADDY?
