What's your sharpest user? Mine would have to be my RJ Martin Overkill.....

It came scary sharp and still is after 1 touchup on the Sharpmaker.

Hmmm, kind of a broad question. I don't mean to be a wise a**, but I maintain all my knives as sharp as I want them to be.

If a new knife is a little dull out of the box, I simply sharpen to my desire. If a favorite user gets dull after use, again I simply sharpen to my desire.

In folders, my Jigged Bone Kiwi with the Tom Krein full flat grind treatment would be the wickedest slicer I own.

My CF Stretch ZDP189 (slightly thinned and polished edge) and Fallkniven PXL are my sharpest working folders.

Can i just say whatever knife happens to be in my pocket at the time? :D

That is the goal anyway. I have this oddball Beretta folder...i'm not sure what the steel is and all it says is Japan on the blade, but that thing takes an edge like nothing i've ever owned...i never carry or use it though.

I just did an overhaul on my Military taking everything apart cleaning it and sharpening it. I also keep my Calypso very sharp. I would say it would be between the Caly 3.5 I got today, and the other 2 mentioned above.

my CRK is scary sharp...

but the sharpest I own (out of the box) is my CF Walker ZDP-189

(and this little SAK that I keep cutting myself with trying to use the scissors...)

My Krein'd Delica 4. After sharpening on the UF stones, the thing easily whittles hair. Scary sharp.

My Sage II with that S30V blade. Sharpest (best at cutting hair/paper) but not the best slicer due to thick blade, I think my Stretch beats it.

as freshly sharpened or after a month of use? :p

Freshly sharpened I'd put my s30v lil temp up against my zdp caly jr... after a month of use, my lil temp is still gonna be sharp while the zdp is gonna need a touchup. Both done at ~30 degrees.

I've got my ss 'fly down to ~12 degrees, and while I can get it hair popping sharp easily, the ats-55 isn't great at holding that edge... though it'll stay sharp for a few months.

MY Grasshopper is actually probably the sharpest, all in all. The edge may not last forever, but WOW, what a slicer until it does wear down! I assume that the thin blade, FFG and type of blade steel all are factors here - and the fact that it is easier to get a consistently ridiculous edge certainly doesn't hurt! Just a few quick passes on the SM204 and it's back the way I like it. I usually just take it to work as it as very inconspicuous and handles anything I might want to cut under those conditions.
