is there jimping on both sides or just on bottom?

i heard since it wont "look" equal when closed they decided against it. then i heard they would add it to both sides.

While I like the looks of it, I have other spydies on the list I would want to get before the balance.

Too expensive for what it is IMO. SS version might be more to my budget's liking. I'm in the same boat as RIOT; I have my budget going towards other upcoming Spyderco knives.

I'm quite excited about it, me and a few other spyderknuts have been trying to convince Sal to put it into production ever since we saw the first concept model. I'll definitely get the first version, if I can get my hands on one.

I am not interested because I think that the configuration is beat hands down by hawkbill in usefulness. To be sure it is a unique knife configuration and will probably be sought for eagerly by afis.

When I first saw the prototype I was excited. It is a very nice looking knife. Two things turned me off:

1. The price - for me it's more that I would want to spend for what this knife offers, and

2. The knife appears to be extremely small. This was not apparent until I saw photos of one in a user's hand. For me, it would be more of a novelty item than something I would use.

Again, I think it is one of the cooler-looking designs that Spyderco has offered. I just don't have a place for it in my collection.

Sweet Can't wait for some reviews and pics. I was really excited about this knife until I found out the price. So if I do decide to get one ill hold off for the SS version.

I like Ed's work but I can't find a real excuse to buy an under 2 inch bladed knife with a cutting edge of around 1.25 inches.

It looks well made and ergonomic though.

I'd love one but it is quite expensive and there are too many other things I'd like :)
