Stretch II in foliage green
I really would like to have a Stretch II in foliage green FRN handles. So Sal, any chance of this every happening?
Plus I've listed a poll on which steel to include with this color scheme.

I'd agree. It's somewhat unlikely that they would and, if they did, they'd probably find some way to make the finished product less desirable than if it were made with one of their steels. Find it somewhat odd how readily we accept that.MLR wrote:not sure that the seki makers will use american steel.

I'm in for any new color to the Stretch II.
FYI, Sal stated that the ZDP-189 FRN model is going to be switched to British Racing Green in a "rolling change". It's not Foliage Green, but it's green.

British Racing Green is better than no green but I'd still prefer the foliage green as it matches my modded Delica and Endura models.CanisMajor wrote:I'm in for any new color to the Stretch II.

Well I sure don't want the product to be less desirable due to using a "non" Japanese steel. But do understand the business attitudes of the Japanese and how they do all they can to protect their economy. The Deacon wrote:I'd agree. VG-10 would work for me. As far as colors, I'm not big on foliage green. It's not as bad in FRN as G-10, but I definely like the BRG better, although it wouldn't be my first choice either. I'd prefer the brown being used on the FFG E4 and D4, or the tan of the older Endura 3.
