Spyderco Karambit

#1

Post by FLYBYU44 »

Yes I know Spyderco made a karambit, but it was a folding one. Wouldn't it be awesome if they made a fixed blade karambit? Possible with serrated and non-serrated versions and maybe just some thin CF or G-10 scales on it for looks. What got me thinking about this is that a member on the JD forum made a fixed blade karambit modeled after Spyderco's folding one. It's almost identical save for the blade hole and it has CF scales, and it is very cool looking. Piet.S is his username if you frequent Jerzee Devil, and right now there is a pic of it in the Custom knives section.

I just want a sprint of the old one :)

Not a fan of serrations in SD knives. The G10/CF would be cool. Fixed blades are more specified than folders and leas legal in most places.

Thats just me though. I wouldn't hold back a new model :) .

I doubt it would sell well enough to warrant the tooling.

Looking forward to the new Karahawk, but I still kick myself for not buying the old karambit back in the day.
