There's lots of talent on these forums and I enjoy looking at all the submissions. Only bad thing about all the great pictures is that it makes for some tough competition! ;)

Thank y'all for the kind words. There's a lot of Spydie love evident in the pictures that everyone's been sharing, and I think it's great. :)

Pink spyderco native photo submission

#112

Post by psmith27 »

Hey everyone, some real awesome pictures so far. I would like to thank Spyderco for the contest, the chance, and of course the knives. I am a long time lurker and have benefitted from many here, thanks. As a side note I am a middle school special education teacher and live in colorado. Looks like it takes a contest this awesome to pull me into posting status.
Good luck to all.

I dont have the talent (true) or time (copout) to compete with these cool pics. One question to Joyce. Do we have to buy the Spydie calendar or is it free? I dont have the background to know. Of course, I would like it free..., but am a loyal enough fan to be williing to buy it...so that my friends can ask all manner of uneducated questions...until I show them my Endura, my Manix 2, my son's Sage (used to be mine), my Dragonfly, my navigator, my rookie, etc...having said all that, is someone going to submit a cool Leafstorm pic amongst some cool light green leaves????

LOL Roman :p true words ! I think all of us have been very busy. I know I have been swamped with work and family life. I have OK looking older pics but their size is a bit smaller than what the competition requirements request. I just haven't had much continuous time off to take decent photos especially of my new acquisitions ;)

Where is your submission :D
Cheers

here is mine, i wanted to work on it some more but i had to build a few knives and get this picture done by tomorrow because me and the clan are heading down to disneyworld so this will have to do. it is a Kopa Evrina scrimshawed by Linda Karst Stone, it was like a 6 month wait time but worth it IMO.
