That's right. If a Smurf Blue sprint can sell out, pink should, too? I'm in for one.

Mike is an authorized Spyderco Dealer. He is a great guy and has great prices!!! I have dealt with him on several of my purchases.

Definitely worth checking out :)

Click on the little "Spydietalk" box in my sig line it will take you to the home page!

(i'm not endorsed or anything, I have just been hanging out there since he started it up!)

I'm not sure he has them in yet though, or how many he is getting.

I've been talking to him by email. I've never dealt with him before, but all the contacts have been prompt, professional and friendly as well. The price is very attractive. Given how popular the pink D4s became, I think this one has appeal for more than just us hardcore Manix maniacs. ;)

If it were flat ground, I would definitely be in for one. Saber ground I am not sold, yet.

Do you need to be a member of spydietalk to get one?

Also, will he be having all of the 500 pieces made?

The Pink Manix is a limited 500 piece run for one of our Distributors, not for Spydietalk. Spydietalk must purchase from this particular Distributor since that's the only way for a Dealer without variant Collectors to get them. It is a variation piece for our Collectors.

The only difference from the current Manix2 is the Pink G-10 .

Hope this helps.

Kristi

I caved and bought 2 from the bay... Less than $90 excluding shipping. No pics, nothing... I'm overly optimistic on anything Spyderco. As for the fact it is not FFG, not an issue since my usual cutting tasks doesn't require it.

I ordered mine from knifesquadron.com--same gentleman who has on ebay I think. VERY easy guy to deal with so far--of course, I don't have knife in hand yet--but all indicators are good with great communication and a fair price.

Thank you for clearing that up Kristi. I'm not exclusive with this run. I have to go through the distributor to get these babies.

Have a good day!

I bought one from the same dealer. Top-level service and comms. I'll be putting him on my list of preferred dealers. :spyder:

That actually doesn't look too bad ... the pink is quite reddish, unless it is a trick of the light :)
My spydies: Squeak, Tenacious, Terzuola, D'Allara, UKPK CF peel-ply pre-production, UKPK CF smooth pre-production, UKPK G10 orange leaf-blade, UKPK FRN grey drop-point, UKPK FRN maroon leaf-blade, Bug ... all PE blades :)

I had the same question. Since, these are only pictures and no one other than spyderco had seen them I would say its more of a pink like the delica and native(breast cancer pink)

I also wanted to say that Mike from spydietalk is a great guy. I emailed him yesterday with a few questions and his reply time is literally within minutes!

Thanks Mike!
