Where do I send my knives for a Krein grind?
I tried to check the website but seems to be still in progress.

I sent to the P.O. Box in Gentry. Call first to confirm what you want done and price.
Tom said last week that he would be gone to Blade soon and that there would be a 3 week delay.
Turn around for my first regrind was one week.

I'm curious as to what knives you are having reground guys. Just curious.

Yeah, the Endura Wave is the only Spyderco where I HOTLY disagree with Sal's choice of grind. (To a lesser extent I disagree with Szasbo's grind on the Szasbofly but that's not entirely Spyderco's call like the Endura Wave was). Unbelieveable that Spyderco would give the Endura Wave such a clunky saber grind. Sheesh. They've got this whole product catalog full of awesome cutlery and they put a five dollar gas station replica blade grind on a great carry piece... WTF?? That model BEGS to be sent off to Krein. He's doing two for me right now and any that I run across in the future (it's one of my favorite models) will be sent directly to him sight unseen. The "mail to" address if I happen across one at a deal will be Gentry AR. This model is living testimony that yes, even Spyderco makes HUGE mistakes from time to time. Luckily for us, folks like Krein will correct it for a small fee. And BTW, phone is best for contacting Krein. He usually answers and if not, he replies to voicemails usually within the same day (in my limited experience). Cheers.
