That can't be because I also have an orange military in my pocket and it's the best knife for me. Are there two best knives? :D

Not sure, because to me my Stretch is the best knife I've ever owned.

For me, I demand the most performance out of my Tenacious since it's what I carry most often. I have nicer knives...millies etc, but the Tenacious hasn't let me down yet. Based on the reliability and frequency with which I use it, I'd say it's the "best" I own.

C83 Persian. Looks gorgeous, perfect ergos and slice like a laser. This is not just a knife, Persian is the perfection.

My top choices Natives5, Calys, C83 Persian

Delica 4 hands down. I own more expensive knives, but this is the one I carry most days. Great ergonomics, solid in the hand due to ss liners, perfect blade size (legal most places and does not freak people out) and handles everything I throw at it.

For me, it's the BG-42 Military. Followed very closely by my D-2 Military and S30V Millies.

Other top contenders include my FFG D4's, Kris and large Persians. Oh yeah, can't leave the FRN Stretch out of this group either. :D
I prefer to ask for forgiveness rather than permission.

Up until the Sage 2 showed up, it was Delica's, though I tend to carry "others" occasionally. I work in high tech/office environments so these tend to be quite friendly. UKPK is also usually carried loose, along with an FRN Dragonfly & small SAK. Weekends - may or may not have one of my Delica's or Sages, but always have a larger folder in addition.

Probably the CF, ZDP-189 Stretch for me. It's beautifully made and functional, and is my most carried. Of course this could change.

Great knives for sure the Military's! At times I find them a wee bit big for edc
but once over that for an all around knife they can't be beat. :)
Use your blades in the kitchen, it's great bonding time!

I stopped searching for the perfect EDC about 2 1/2 years ago when I bought my first byrd Robin.

Believe it or not, it is my favorite knife of all time.

I have aproximately 76 knives costing up to $400 a piece and my all time favorite is this little $18 import.

I didn't plan it that way but that's the way it is.

An absolutely superb little knife.

Ditto the above. I want other knives, I own other knives, but I carry a Delica just about every darn day, usually paired with a SAK Tinker for the other tools.

My XHP Manix 2 is on course to be, after it gets some harder use. It is my favorite design and construction EDC knife ever, but I haven't really challenged it enough to bestow the title just yet.

I have carried an old Spyderco Military CPM 440V - Spyderedge... off and on since 1997 - never been more impressed with a knife... it feels like part of my hand... and has defeated many evil packages over the years... (but I don't burn the blade, I use goo-gone)

It's funny that you mention that. My FFG Forum Native is always in my left front pocket. I REALLY like it as well.
