+1 Im also glad that :spyder: doesn't name their knives after Arachnids... 1) because it cheapens it to me, like if you found a cheap nock-off on eBay named after a spider.2) it seems like people would not want to buy a knife named "brown recluse" "black widow" as mentioned before...and I also hate real spiders so, I wouldn't want that.

But for the r.j. Martin KUMO, that name fits the knife,IMO, along with the scorpius.

Yeah, that would be super cheesy to have the Spyderco Black Widow, etc. Thankfully, Spyderco is far more clever with its naming process.

I think if Spyderco only used actual spiders as names, the items might sound a little "toyish"
Spyderco please make a wire clip version of the Manbug/Ladybug!
