I used to carry my orange lady bug but took it off so my pockets would be less bulky

Photon Micro light, Orange Ladybug, GID SAK Classic, Ti. Screwdriver/Bottle Opener, is my standard EDC. All have McGizmo clips in case I want to remove them for use, or let someone else use it.

Sometimes, I take off the photon, and put a AAA Arc, or AAA Ti. Photon Fanatic Killer on instead.

Both the keychains with my chipped keys are minimal. Truck key, remote start, a leather keychain from the dealer, and a vnox classic.

The keychain with my house key is a Boker Subcom. House key, office key, spare truck key (non-chipped, just opens the doors), my sister's house key, and now a key for the new patio door.

Already replaced the ignition in 2 vehicles, I'm sure as **** not doing it on my truck. I have a massive keychain with a lot of keys on it, every key I've had in fact, but it only gets used to locate a key for a lock.

I have a second key set up I carry along with the other above, and it is a large Mc Gizmo clip, truck , home, and office key, and alarm Xmiter.

Really most of the setups you see for EDC people are with light knives, Ti, Al or plastic mini lights, Ti tools, FRN Spydercos, and so on.

However, look at what the non EDC crowd carries...most have awful key setups that are the size of a grapefruit.

I think our High-Tech stuff is better, and actually lighter on a key setup, than the people we all know with a thousand keys on a ring, along with some dumb trinkets.

I've heard this forever. I'm not saying it's an urban myth but I have a TR spring release key ring (all metal, kinda heavy on it's own) with 9 keys, a green PE Ladybug, an Atwood Prybaby and like 92   of those stupid plastic store cards. The Jetta is 8 years old and no issues so far (well, not with the ignition anyway :rolleyes :)

My keychain you can remove the keys individually so I use the car key all by itself just for that reason
