New Pouches for Spyderco Police

#1

Post by sylwek tyra »

I’ve made next sheaths for spyderco police. One of them is a copy of the previous. With these pouchs I’m beginning 2010. I would be grateful for some comments of my work.

They do look very nice.
-Do you offer or are you planning to offer this pouch in the tip up carry?
-Also what type of material is the pouch made of?
-Last where can we get this product?

Thank you,
tex

Really nice work.

At work you literally had 10 cops hanging over my computer drooling over this pouch and wanting the thing, and wanting to buy a "Police" knife just so they can have it.

I'll bite.

Get us info on cost.

Great looking leather work!

Please forgive my ignorance, but why do you need a holster for a knife with a clip?

How the heck do you make leather do that?

The lines and texture are done with metal tools called stamps and modeling tools. The leather can be wetted and molded with water. Leather is a very nice medium to work with!

Thanks Hector. I make sheaths for the knives I make but the crispness of your work is a revalation! I routinely wet and mold my sheaths but never get remotely close to the tightness of your work. I'll have to do some study.

I looked around and I think I found his website: http://www.sylwestertyra.pl/index.html

It's still under construction but there are a few more pics.
