I am now a Spyderco owner
Hey all, I recently came into an amazing trade offer on another forum and now own my first :spyder: knives. I got a Centofante 3 and a Paramilitary and I have to say.. these are some **** quality knives. The first thing that I noticed upon opening them and holding these babies in my hand was how ergonomic and comfortable they are. The blades are sharp as **** and are just so beautiful and elegant. I really can't say enough but here are some photos I took and wanted to share:
I might actually go ahead and order another centofante 3 because this is such a nice folder for 45 bucks which I've seen it for.

Congrats! IMO a nice start to the Spydie addiction. The Para is one of Spyderco's best hard use FFG folders, and the Cento3 with its nice FRN handle, the Palladium silver bug inlay and the 2mm thick blade is a real slicer and much "more" knife than one would think (I made that mistake, too, until I got one!): bigger, sturdier and heavier than pictures will tell.
The Cento4 with Wharncliff blade is disco'd and maybe available as a steal rifht now....
but you don't want to miss out on amazing different designs of Spyderco like the Caly3, the Bradley, the Chokwe, the Stretch(!!!) and so many others, so perhaps you could think about getting one of them instead of a backup for a knife that will last forever anyway without needing replacement
Dennis
EDIT: Did I just recommend nearly all the Taiwan made Spydies? Well, that's how great they are.... but the FRN Stretch is IMHO THE knife every Spyderco enthusiast HAS to own. Japan made, of course. THE BEST EDC Spydie if you ask me. And SAL's favourite....

well guys, you were right.. I got a new spydie today but the camera isn't working so I just searched the pic:
Spyderco Khukuri by Ed Schempp, this is going into the collection and definitely won't be a user knife. I really love the khukuri style blade and the g10 handle is extremely grippy.. almost like a sandpaper but that is good. The one complaint I have is that the liner lock is a bit tough to close but this is a safe queen. The clip is quite nice, black with yellow logo. Also, I think this is the sharpest knife I have ever received out of the box. It is razor sharp and came sharper than my centofante and para. Overall, this is probably my "classiest" folder knife now and is a great addition to my newbie collection.

Game over. You're screwed. Might as well just get your check direct deposited into Sal's bank account. Nice score btw. I have all 3 of those and there great blades. You should check out the M4 GB and the Sage. Everything Spyderco makes is a wallet killer. Enjoy your new obsession. :D
