Nutnfancy just uploaded his Spyderco video from SHOT.

He gets hands-on footage of the new models and talks with Ed Schempp and Sal.

Great to see Ed & Sal again. Very nice report indeed. Gives me a few pointers for my IWA show report in March. ;)

That was a really great video. I satisfied my need for a Spyderco fix for at least a day.

Well worth watching. That's forumite spyderwa, Dave Jung, sitting behind and to the right of Ed Schempp. I noticed him in the last seven minutes but he may have been sitting there before.

Was pleased to hear Ed describe the GB just like I did, as a stepped radius/round.

add - Also glad to hear all the love for the Barong.

It was nice to see Eric in the background while they were talking about the Manix II Blue G-10, great video.

I just saw a few minutes of it thus far and I now want to buy the Barong! After being unexpectedly blown away by the Khukuri, I'm now sure the same will happen with the Barong. I have to find time to watch the rest of the video...

Great video!

Nice to hear some insight from Ed and Sal. The Delica's look amazing as do the FRN UKPK's. The Manix2 Blue and GB are really sick too. Even Nutnfancy with his 4 oz limit was diggin them.

The Warrior wasn't doing anything for me but seeing it in a video and learning more about it is changing my mind. I personally won't probably buy one but it's a serious tool for anyone who needs it. It has to be one of the best reverse grip fighting knives of the decade if not the century and H1 makes it even better.

Sigh, poor credit card. :(

I just finished watching the video. When Mr. Schempp talked about steel my jaw dropped! **** he knows his stuff! I learned a lot from that video and it was cool to hear Mr. Glesser talk. I have only seen photos of him.

I had never seen or heard Ed Schemp or Sal before that video. It puts a little perspective on things. I wonder if there had ever been a Spyderco family picture done, including collaborators.

I can't believe he didn't ask if there were plans for a FRN Caly 3.

A great video, for sure.

Ed Schempp was excellent and really showed his knowledge of his craft. Sal was also great. It's funny, some think Spyderco knives are weird, trendy or collectible. Sal and Ed provided the most technical, enlightening discussion that I've ever seen in a knife-related video.

The new products look great. I was really surprised by the fit and finish of the FRN USPK. In addition, the stone washed finish looked nice and I liked the color. Perhaps I'll pick one up. Oh, and I can't forget the FFG Delica. Most of the colors don't do it for me but the grey is nice.
