What Spydercos Did Santa Bring You?

#1

Post by vivi »

I finally got my hands on a fully serrated Spyderhawk in bright yellow :D

Sad to see my Tasman leave my pocket after being a trusted companion for over a year, being with me 24/7. The bigger handle fits my hand better though, and the longer blade will work well with the serrated hawkbill design.

I also got a RAT cutlery Izula. It's my first time getting to handle one. I spent some time touching up the edge to my standards and gave the handle an OD green paracord wrap. I think in the future I'll strip it and let it develop a patina. I like the way my D2 Millie looks after doing that to the blade. It's a nice, compact fixed blade that will share EDC duties with my Spydercos.

What Spyderco (Or other knives) did you get for Christmas?

Got a Stretch II Carbon Fiber and a Calypso Jr in Grey FRN, which made me very, very happy.

Well, I subbed for Santa and got myself a pe Spyderhawk. It came today and I used it for opening packaging and envelopes, etc. My first hawkbill and I love it! This is my second Spyderco knife and I've a feeling won't be my last.

Merry Christmas, everyone!

Due to a series of delays, three Barongs are still in transit to Jose (supermatch38sa) who is doing different custom scales for each one. That will be my most exciting Christmas present, but I've been on quite the splurge and there are quite a few Spydercos inbound.

Santa didn't get me anything ... but my faithful dog that I rescued from the pound picked me up a Spyderco Superhawk & a FFG G-10 Endura. Thankfully my wife was nice enough to wrap them for him. :D

Orange Military and a Sharpmaker!!! The Millie is fantastic, I love it. It will be fighting pocket time with my Police 3. It makes me want the M4 version and Ti version already. Close to perfection... I think.

The sharpmaker works great and the DVD is fun to watch.

Black FRN SE Dragonfly as a stocking stuffer. Bought myself the Gayle Bradley because I made it onto my own "Nice List." Funny how that happens every year. :p
