Ok, so I was sitting by my computer and I decided to see just how strong the linerlock was on my new Centofante PE. I took the knife, (without the SecureLock) and rapped the spine of the blade smartly on the palm of my left hand. And that's when it happened: The linerlock failed! It just popped past the liner and almost closed on my right fingers. Now, after trying the "spine test" I was just curious: IS this supposed to happen?? I hope I don't have to send in my new knife to be re-designed or something.....
Thanks! -Spydernut

I'll have it in the mail tomorrow....<img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

I had a problem with the liner lock on my Lum titanium tanto folder. When it was new, if I opened the blade very slowly, the liner lock would not fully engage. I could close the blade eventhough the blade was fully open. I called the Spyderco factory and they told me to flick the blade open very hard a few times. It took care of the problem.
