Wooooohoooo!<img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0><img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0><img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

Thanks to a tip from KrazieKurtis, I just recieved my full-size Centofante PE this evening! <img src="tongue.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> What a sweet tip! Very "pointy" and ready for business. BTW K/K, mine also has a serial number, #664. I almost flipped when I saw your post stating that your's was #667! Way cool, dude!<img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

Anyway, thanks K/K!<img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

Cheers,

Thanks KK. Maybe it was the first 500 that had the gold emblem. Oh well.

Yeah, mine's silver too.<img src="tongue.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> I thought at first that it was gold, though. It looked like gold anyway.<img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

I think you're right, the first 500 or 1500 or those models must have been the gold emblem models. Go figure....

#1.?Where do I look to find a serial number?
#2.Of 3 knives 2 have black clips & 1 a shiney clip.?Any significance?
I showed the Centofante to a buddy who'd seen the pic.His eyes bugged, his jaw dropped & he said"Oh Yeah!"

Serial No. is usually stamped near the <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>hole.

No real significance to black or shiny clips though older models did mostly feature shiny clips.

Aye, well the blade on the discontinued Centofante is of a 'no nonsense' style, just plain sharp n' pointy.

Excellent grab, all! The Centofante is getting a bit hard to locate, so as long as the price is right, grab 'em while you can! <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

Keepin' it real...real sharp, that is.

OK.The 2 Centofantes with black clips are #658 with a silver emblem & #775 with a gold emblem. The 1 with the shiny clip has no serial #,a silver emblem & the clip is attached with 3 Phillips screws above the pivot pin.?What's the difference?-production dates? Dern iffin y'all didn't push my curiosity button!

HHEELLLOOO!! ?Would some Spydie expert PLEASE answer my last post?!?!Pretty-Please??
It's the abscence of a serial number on the Centofante with the shiney clip that intrigues me.

Unfortunately, I can't be of much help to you. Maybe you should try posting your question as a separate thread, that would get more attention than a comment deep within a thread.
