I did it I knew I shouldn't but I did.Couldn't help myself.I had myself convenced that I did not like it.I handled it and was hooked.What is it?The Bob Lum Chinese Folder.This has got to be one of the best knife to hand fit that I have seen.The store where I saw it had # 430 SE green scales.I will get a PE in the gun metal blue if I can find one if not I will get the green PE.It might take a few weeks to get it but it will be my next after I get a couple of deals I have going on now done.

They are sweet. I like my green one better, probably cause it took so long to find one in plain edge. But the new Lum fixed blade is my new favorite Spy. Funny thing, the leather sheaths are made differently. The one with the lower number has a roughback lining and the higher numbered one has a smooth lining. I've got to find a left handed kydex sheath for small of the back carry. Is there anyone out there who could make one? Or actually two. One for each side.

Nice one.
If it wasn't for the gun metal blue version I might never have discovered this brilliant knife either.

hey br44, you just need to go over to bladeforums and ask there. There are several that can make them out of kydex or leather.

Congratulations Jeff, welcome to the club <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>. Of course I'm not surprised that you couldn't put it down once you'd handled it, for months I've been telling everybody within earshot that this is the best knife in the current <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> cattledog.

Clay,
We try to tell them, but they just don't listen. Didn't you recommend this knife a long time ago?? <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> Everyone needs one, just buy one now and we'll leave ya alone. <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

J Smith;
I do know where you're coming from though. I just ordered a 50/50 Endura.<img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0><img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0><img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

I now have one on the way. I purchased it because I want something while I send in my Darrel Ralph Apogee, which I purchased to have while waiting for my Mayos! I handled it in a store and really did like the total feel.
