Lava or new G-10 Dragonfly?

#1

Post by Blue72 »

I lost my Lava

Should I get another Lava or the new g-10 dragonfly? I love the ergos of the Lava, but does the new g-10 feel much different with the jimping and textured handle.

If you loved your Lava, I would pick up another one first. Before they dry up. The G10 Dragonfly should be around for awhile.

I'd agree with Aaron,

If you loved your Lava I too would get a replacement. I have a few of them and they are great :D

Agreed on previous comments - and I dont even have a Lava :D  :D . Lava is discontinued and G10Dfly is new - got plenty of time for Dfly.

The jimping may improve the Dragonfly's feel slightly, but the shape of its handle does not fit my hand anywhere near as naturally as the Lava's. If you like the Lava, I'd say by all means get another one while they are still easy to find.

If you liked the Lava, get that one.
You can get a Dragonfly later. I guess this was said already :D

Get the Lava now, while you can. The G-10 Dragonfly will wait for you. ;)

I love my lava and if I lost it I would buy a replacement in a heart beat but hey go with God. What will you enjoy the most? That will be the answer to your question. Enjoy.

PS. I would love to see a fully serrated lava with a slightly larger handle but with the same twisted design for the handle.
