Jeez, so I am stuck at work and I read the backposts, one caught my eye, the "how many knives do you carry?" Good god, guys, you all are walking arsenals! Some of you must have taken the "be prepared" motto of the cub scouts too seriously! Or either you live in a straight up ghetto.

But on the other hand, I am buying more and more knives and every knife I buy somehow I end up carrying, to the point where I am adding considerable weight to my pants, but seriously guys "one knife carried in my boxers?" Isn't that too far, I mean if you go through all your knives you have on you and you still wind up naked, one knife won't make much of a difference. But still, I wonder why you carry so much.

Hey, when the anti-knife people are saying that knives are just extensions of our one-eyed trouser snakes, why not take it to heart? Seriously, clipping it to your boxers is a good way to conceal a non-sheeple-friendly knife, since not even the clip will be visible. Just switch the clip to the other side so the knife isn't *IN* your boxers.

I don't go that far. I carry a Native IWB, and a Calypso and Calypso Jr in my right front pocket. If I'm wearing pants with cargo pockets, i.e. carpenter jeans, I may carry an Endura in the right side cargo pocket, or I'll just move the Calypso there for better concealment and easier access to my right front pocket.

Wise man say, forgiveness is divine. Remember that when your bites you!

Hey!!

If a knife is supposed to be an extension of YOUR one-eyed trouser snake, what does that say for us SpyderGals????

One-eyed trouser snake....LOL!
( It took me a while to get that one. )

Gary,

For my "boxer mode" carry, I prefer to carry tip-down knives, as I really don't want a tip-up to open whilst I have it so close to "home". So my Calypso Jr. is normally what I'd choose for such purposes. I'd rather be safe than sorry....

Hee hee!

I guess my "better safe than sorry" carry is my mini-Police necklace around my neck. It may be small, but it is sharper than a box-cutter and look what those idiots did with those!

I've found that if I keep a sheeple-friendly knife visible (Case knives seem to be extremely good choices) then most people who don't know me assume it is the only one I'm carrying. Besides that, I carry a Colt Detective Special, Spyderco Delica PE ATS-55,Swiss Army Swiss Card, Swiss Tech Utili-Key, Case Trapper, occasionally a CRKT Stiff Kiss, and a cheap auto to pop when I'm bored. (Soon many of these knives will be replaced by newer and better models as soon as I go to Great Smoky Mountain Knife Works, but my Delica is there to stay, along with my Utili-Key)
