You're welcome, clovisc!

My EDC combo is the Nitecore D10 R2 and PE Caly 3 (clipped to front left and right pockets, respectively), combined with the red (but more copperish orange) Fenix L0D Q4 around my neck and FRN SE Cricket on my belt. And, a Fenix E01 on my keychain.

I took this combo camping the other weekend. I mostly used a Zebralight H501 pure flood headlamp for lighting chores though (not pictured).

Salt 1 SE, and Ra Clicky 100 Warm White.

My recent combo has been:

-Krein'd ZDP Endura
-Surefire E1B Backup (silver)
-Leatherman Charge TTi

I also occasionally carry my Surefire Z2 with Malkoff M60, but the E1B has been a pocket hawg due to its (lack of) size and excellent clip. The fact that's a little throw monster gets it a bit more pocket time as well. :D

You and me, both! Do you have black or silver?

You got some 'splainin' to dooo! :D Have you had a bad experience with an E1B? As I'm a new E1B user, I'm quite curious.

I have probably spent thousands over the past 10-15 years on replacements, but nothing has ever taken their place and, though they look it after all the miles and hours, they are still part of my every, every EDC.

that's it! all this talk about the E01 has inspired me to get one, even though i've already got a nitecore D10 on the way!

should be a good key chain/back-up/loaner light...

or maybe it'll end up hanging out in my fly fishing vest/jacket, for those super-early-morning steelhead blitzes... :D

No bad experience, it just was not waterproof, I did not read that it was only weather proof till after the fact. Great light otherwise.

I got caught out on my kayak tonight...a thunderstorm rolled in and literally blacked everything out a good 2 hours before when the sun normally goes down!

On my way back to the boatramp, my first thoughts were about getting back to the car and loading my gear onto the roof racks without a 'torch' (sorry US members, that's what they're called in the UK and her colonies ;) ) It's a pretty rough parking lot, unsealed, potholes and no O'head lighting.

but I had a bigger issue to worry about...all the other boaties were flat-out racing back to the ramp with the last of the light & before the storm hit. I had no light to shine at them to warn of my presence and I would've been bloody hard to see 1 foot off the water!

I need something to sit on the other side of my vest, opposite my H1 Pac Salt (what a knife :D ) so I had a look here for what everyone has.

STi, your Jetbeam II looked the goods. I couldn't get a 'Jet II' so I had to get a 'Jet III'. It's a little bigger than I'd like, but at the price, it was hard to beat.

The Surefire G2's, E1L's etc would be great...but they're a little 'excey $$$' down here.

Thanx guys for posting your pics...they really came in handy for me!.

P.S.
Until this purchase I've never EDC'd a torch, but it might come in handy, I haven't carried a 'kubotan' for years :p
