This will be a quick sell out, I'm guessing. If only it was M4! :D

The Manix 2 is a great knife, and that is a great MSRP for an American made knife with those materials and the other outstanding attributes of the M2 design. Given the base price of the 154CM model it isn't surprising that FFG/CF/S90V model will be such a good deal.

Ouch, I just pulled the trigger on a SE Manix 2 not more than an hour ago. Guess I am going to have to pick up a PE companion. :D

Thanks for the announcement Eric. I've been on the edge of my seat waiting to buy a Manix 2 and I think I will pick one of these up.

Forgive my ignorance but what is "M4"?

Question: Will these only be sprint runs, or will they eventually become production models?

I only ask because ATM, I cannot afford one. About to start grad school.

CPM M4, a nice high speed powdered steel that gets really sharp, is relatively tough, and has very good edge retention.

Pics Please! This is torture for me as I *just* bought a D2 Para and have no knife budget for the next few months. I didn't realize this one was coming so soon...

Caught me off guard as well! The Manix 2 is barely what, 3 or 4 months old and already a sprint run of it? Very cool  Looks like the Rock Lobster that I was gonna buy just got shuffled to the back burner.
