Mouse deal

Postby jabajet » Thu Feb 28, 2002 1:00 am

Is $75 for a Mouse a good deal? Seems like a lot for a little knife, although it looks very nice, I am tempted!

JJ,

My Mouse is supposed to be coming in today. I know that $75 bucks is a lot of dough to spend on a "little" knife, but I have a gut feeling that it is worth every penny. Besides, you can't go wrong with a Spyderco! Go for it.<img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>
BTW, if you do get it, remember that the blame goes to Kahz for spreading the El Raton virus!! <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0><img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0><img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> Heh heh! LOL<img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

So, go order one today!

Hi Jabajet,

Yup. It's absolutely hands down worth at least the $75 you'll shell out for it. It's a very tough little knife. the handle & lock seem like they were made with a much larger blade in mind. I was bitten by the Mouse virus also due to Kahz <img src="tongue.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> and have not stopped carrying it since.

Besides, once you get it you can proudly say "Yes, that's a mouse in my pocket, and I am happy to see you!" <img src="tongue.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0><img src="tongue.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0><img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

You won't be disappointed with this great little knife!

I am quickly becoming Spyderco poor! (16 and counting) I don't think I can resist this little Mouse though...

The Mouse is an excellent buy at that price. There aren't many blades of that size with that power and very secure grip.

However, if you are thinking of buying a Mouse, you should also consider the Dragonfly. The Dragonfly blade is thinner and is flat ground. Depends on the type of cutting you will be doing most. Since both are lockbacks, no real issues there. The Dragonfly has a somewhat slimmer profile and can be had for around $35.

Hee, hee... $75 is a GREAT deal for the Mouse. The Mouse is a WONDERFUL, strong and small knife, you can't go wrong with it! Been my EDC since October last year, and I don't go anywhere without it (and the other two Spydies I carry every day).
