What's in your EDC rotation?

I really can't settle on one Spyderco knife for any length of time. Depends what I'm wearing or what I'm doing on a particular day. Weekends I tend to wear larger knives while I'm riding my Ultra Classic or doing stuff around the yard/house. So i have a rotation of about 3 main knives, during the week that i keep in a drawer. Sometimes a new knife comes along that bumps temporarily a mainstay, as I try it, but this is the current lineup.

Stretch II

If I'm dressing up in a suit for instance, I'll wear my Dragonfly Etched, but it's usually kept in it's box. For years I was able to get by with just a Delicas as my main EDC, but after visiting this site and reading about all the sweet knives that were out there, I've settled on the above 3.

BTW, 2 things, i don't mean to belittle my other favorites. Para D2 is fantastic, just can't replace my Stretch II currently. I also think so highly of all 3 knives above that I own a replacement of each.

Mostly ZDP Delica 4 blue sprint, ZDP Endura, both PE, Police 3 PE, Yojimbo, Dodo black PE..
I would say currently the ZDP Endura takes most of the pocket time.

the last week or so, it's been chokwe prototype and waved SE E4 (clip switched to left side) both in my right front pocket.

for fishing, i grab a pacific. for longer hikes, the rock salt (or at least a PE aqua) comes along.

black mili IWB back right, clipless SE tasman in right front pocket and either d4 or sog flash 1 clipped on right front. Gotta love working at a warehouse.

If I'm in jeans, I usually carry a Para. If in a suit, I prefer the lighter Native or CLB Trance.

I try to rotate my EDC with folders from the collection but always seem to come back to one these four:

Small Classic Sebenza S30V

isn't it funny that few of us can limit ourselves to just one knife? As much as we want an all around knife, what's good for our work may not be for household use.

Mostly a Caly 3, but I mix in a Delica 4, Endura 4, Mili, FG Rookie, orange UKPK and a Benchmade 530. I have sold off a couple Lavas and Crickets. Just a little too small for my hands. The Ocelot is a for the days out hunting.

I have a Sage en route that may upset the rotation. I am growing very fond of the wire clips for more discreet carry.

Prior to the arrival of the Manix 2 for testing, it was mostly either my STR customized Stretch or my CF Stretch II, along with a Kiwi. Since it's return I've been bouncing between the FRN Stretch II that arrived with it and an R2 which STR customized for me, again with a Kiwi. Todays pairing was the FRN Stretch II and my Tom Krein FFG Kiwi...

I rotate between the following for EDC. No particular reason for which one I choose to carry on any particular day.

CF Caly 3
Urban FG leaf blade
Salt 1
BM mini grip HG blade(spydie style hole) with Wilkins G10 grip

Might add into the rotation new G10 poliwog that I got yesterday, it fits so nice in the hand.

Slight Tangent: Paul, your killing me with that FRN Stretch!!! Is that the VG-10? or ZDP? (I've already pre-ordered the FRN VG-10) haven't seen the ZDP listed yet.

last 3 months i used only native, i like it very much just sometimes in special days D'Allara rarely Endura, its a great knife but never i had a great feeling with handle.

For EDC it's an almost exclusive deal for a black UKPK. Very occasional guest appearances are made by a T-Mag, orange UKPK or green UKPK. I suspect that the black UKPK will be ousted as soon as the UKStretchPK arrives on the scene. :)

When hunting it's a different story and all sorts of different knives come out to play Wegner Jnr, Impala etc etc. I suspect a Stretch II or FRN Stretch will be added to these ranks in the not too distant future.

I usually have a primary and secondary class that I carry and I tend to choose the ones under primary that have a wire-clip. The wire-clips tend to do less damage to walls, car paint and other things I may bump into and since I am big and clumsy that's a big factor for me!
