Glad it's finally out, well not for another few months. I'll be saving for this for sure.

YAY! Thanx for the info, Kristi.

I DEFINITELY want one (maybe two) of these!

I do have one concern though. Is UPS the only way the SFO ships in CONUS?

Where I live, UPS and/or Fedex deliver in the late afternoon (as late as 6:31 PM). I work second shift (1 PM to 11 PM or later some nights) and there is nobody here to sign for it (My cats don't count, as much as they believe otherwise). :p

And you DON'T leave a package on the doorstep in this neighborhood. It would grow legs and be gone before the truck was out of the parking lot.

I have a PO box for my mail. Is there any way they will ship USPS in Conus?

Boy, now I GOTTA get both Forum Knives (USN Toxic Green and Spyderco Purple). They will look soooo good displayed together! :D

Wondering,

Michael

Very cool! Will it be limited to 1 for each forum member so everyone gets a chance at 1? After the collectors club it sounds like there will be about 200 left for forum members.

I knew it would be the Native 4. It's the only one that made sense in the end. I'm cool with it!

Thanks for finally letting us know TK. I was going crazy, now we will just have to wait till they come out, but at least it gives us a chance to decide on how many to get.

I'm in for two! :D

I'm more excited now than when I first heard it would be purple. The native is perfect in my hands, but the only reason it wasn't the best was because of the hollow grind. Long live the FFG!

Heck, if I end up with more than two, I think I could dye one to a darker color...

I'm imagining it to be a nice deep dark purple

Kristi did post that the Forum Members will be eligible to receive a 40% discount (thanks Spyderco!) so it shouldn't be very expensive at all. I'm guessing around a hundred bucks or so.

I had one question regarding the shipping rates/polices you listed. Is there any reason that the USPS Priority Mail could not be used rather than UPS to ship to AK?

USPS Priority mail is much cheaper and it looks like you are already utilizing the USPS for your international shipments.

Also, there are many areas in Alaska that do not have UPS delivery or service (including my own).

I know that this is not much of an issue to most of your customers but it does affect the few of us up in the frozen north.
i agree -- UPS is an extremely expensive way to get stuff up here...

Might be priced a little like a Pink or Black Native, that would put it much-much lower than your estimate. :)
Could be well under a hundred bucks.

Also, 300 sounds like only a few to us but things don't seem sell out like I think they should.... Example, $39.00 Swicks are still for sale with a run of only 500.
S90v Mules are still for sale, with a run of 600 was it?
They have been out for months! Cant believe they are still available?

So 300 is probably a solid number......... Should sell well, but wont leave Sal sitting on to many xtra's.

Unless the color is really not my cup of tea, I'm in!
I always loved the look of the FRN Native I, but didn't want the saber hollow ground blade. Sounds pretty perfect now!

At this point, we're not planning on limiting the number one person can purchase. That could change if I have reason to be concerned.

We're working on some options for AK, HI and PO Box shipping. I'll keep you posted.
