Spyderco Forum Knife 2009 - Details

#1

Post by TazKristi »

I know you have all been waiting for this for quite a while. Here are almost all the details. I'm waiting on final pricing, but I hope to have that on Monday. When I get it finalized I'll edit this post.

Spyderco.com Forum Native - C41PPR
- USA Made Native with Purple FRN Scales, Full Flat Grind CPM-S30V, PlainEdge Blade. Engraved on the front of the blade with the logo attached. Silver Clip. This is the only USA Made Native that we've ever done with a Full Flat Grind, so this truly will be a one of a kind. The purple will be a little darker than that of the Purple Ladybug. I don't have an image, but once we do a Pilot run, I'll be able to post a picture.

MSRP - $109.95
Spyderco.com Forum Member Price - $65.97 (40% Discount)

Limited 300 piece Sprint Run

How to get it: This one of a kind Native will only be sold through our Outlet Store, SFO, on Spyderco.com. Once it is available, I will post here and let you know what day and time it will go live on the site. I will give you one week's notice prior to it going live (in addition to posting occasional updates on status), so it shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. Currently we're looking at Fall as an ETA.

Discount:
The discount will only be offered to Spyderco.com Forum Members. When I announce the Go Live date I will also share a special discount code to be used in the order process. This code will ONLY be posted here and it will only be valid on the C41PPL. Because we have an open forum (meaning anyone can read it), I may send the code to all current members in a Broadcast PM/E-Mail to keep it exclusive.

Collectors Club: We do have to honor our Collectors Club agreement and those members who receive variations will receive the C41PPL through their normal Dealer. Currently there are less than 100 members who receive all variations.

Shipping Fees:
Standard shipping fees from SFO apply to all orders. The freight amounts are based on order totals.

Shipping UPS Ground CONUS:
Order total under $75 - $8 Freight
Order over $75 - Free Freight

Shipping UPS to Hawaii/Alaska:

$20

International Shipping:
International shipments will be sent out according to our new International Shipping Schedule:
Shopping Cart Total: $0-$99 - Shipping/Handling Charge $25
Shopping Cart Total: $100-$399 - Shipping/Handling Charge $35
Shopping Cart Total: $400 and higher - Shipping/Handling Charge $50

International shipments will be via USPS (yes, US Postal Service) International Priority Mail. Please be aware, we will have limited tracking capabilities. Tracking once it leaves the US is dependent upon the postal services outside the US and their ability to provide it. However, this will completely eliminate UPS Brokerage Fees.

I'll definitely be getting one of these. Was just telling the wife about it and of course her first question was "how much?" I said it couldn't be that much, I got a Native at Wal-Mart for 40 bucks. Just checked the catalog and the MSRP on the Native is up to $99.95! Wow! Dang inflation.

It's a C41, a Native 1- no liners.

Nice to finally know what it is. Now we just have to wait until fall.
So many knives, so few pockets... :)

So excited! Was hoping for some s90v or something else exotic, but the s30v is a phenomenal steel, which is a lot easier for me to maintain. Can't wait to see the purple!

Kristi,
Great news. Thank you. Native4. One of my favorites. US made. I need two. I need it now.
OK, I will wait, but it is hard. Very hard. Only 300 :(
