I have more spydies than I really 'need', and sometimes I drift away from this site for a while, but news like this is why I need to not be too much of a stranger. This is my excuse to get a native, and I'm waiting for the G-10 Dragonfly, too.

Thanks so much to you all at Spyderco. Seriously!!!

A Purple Native in S30V with a full flat grind, less than 300 made and a purple handle!!! And for less than $70.

Thanks very very much! This will be awesome.

This will be my Birthday gift. :)

Now I just have to find a way to get the money and have it sent all without my wife finding out.LOL. She is not to keen on me collecting anything that costs money. Maybe I will tell her it is an investment because it will go up in price. Hmmm.

Mat,
There's not going to be a sign up. I'll post occasional updates on the ETA and one week before they go up on the site, I'll post that they are ready.

Wow... This thing is gonna be nuts! I've come to really appreciate FFG blades since getting into the Caly family. Selfish as this may be, I hope this keeps getting pushed back bit by bit by bit (hey, it happens once in a while ;) )... until I get my card paid off so I can buy one at the release :D

*SMACK* BAD JEFF! STOP THINKING ABOUT BUYING TOYS!

Man, I'm gonna be REALLY glad to get rid of this cursed alter ego  :p

A very wise man once told me "Eat to live; don't live to eat." ...To my knowledge that's the only stupid thing he's ever said.

The Native is the first Spyderco I bought. S30V is my favorite steel and a FFG will be awesome. I will be down for one!!

As I don't have a Native yet it will also be my first forum knife.

Perhaps it would be a good idea to send a mass email to all the members once it's available.
