How tough/resistant is Almite Vs.Type lll anodizing?

How tough/resistant is Almite Vs.Type lll anodizing?

Here´s a technical one. How tough/resistant is Almite coating compared to the type lll anodizing? :spyder:

Anodizing is harder. If referring to type 3 on things like new flashlights.
TiNi coating also is harder i think. Refering to scratch resistance to other metal thighies... ;)

I have found that the Almite finish scratches very easily. I have not experienced that with anodizing....FWIW there are some new coatings used mostly for gun parts that don't scratch at all.... Doc :D
