I've got all mine except my Lava from Spydieguys, the Lava I got from a local B&M store.

Of the last six Spydercos, five were off eBay from five different sellers -- all with approval ratings over 99% and I added to their positive reviews.

The only hitch was one company that sent it to my personal rather than business address, but that was because he shipped too fast to read my email with the correct address.

These were my first-ever purchases from eBay (all BuyNow), and I was impressed.

The sixth one, a stainless-steel Ladybug, I bought at my local Spyderco dealer's.

Dealers:-

Spydercovt (Tom Berry)
Knife Center
New Graham Knives aka The Pharmacy

Other sources: -

Private Aussie Knife Forum I'm a member of
Blades Forum
KnifeBST

I've bought occasionally from some other Dealers but usually Custom knives and not Spydies.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend ANY of the above dealers, all first class. Tom Berry gets my prime vote but then again I usually buy all my first-issue Spydies from him and no one else.

I'd like to add here that 12 months ago I almost exclusively bought knives but increasingly I trade the few knives I have on my disposal list. I sell VERY infrequently.............

Regards,

BRIAN

Dealers - mostly from New Graham Knives, a few from KnifeCenter, a few from YouWantIt2 (they self import a number of "Japanese Market" models), and a few from SFO. I've also purchased at least one or two from a dozen or so other dealers, some still in business, some not.

Other sources - most of my older Spydercos have come from eBay, but have also gotten some from the BladeForum Exchange, and some from "private treaty" sales and trades.

Mostly Knifeworks, lately. And very pleased of their services, I may add :)

seems I'm running pretty close to 50/50 on my sources.

I usually stop in to my local shop (Cutting Edge) as I come within $20 after buying and getting it shipped from the states anyways.

If I'm looking for harder to find models I poke around either here or on jerzeedevil. Just got an S for 40usd and shipping over there.

Grand Prairie Knives and The Blade Shop have my business. Quick ship and very good prices. There are other online shops i check as well as ebay for some older models.

Edit: after some bad experiences The Blade Shop is not recommended. They seem to have trouble when an item is backordered. Just a pain to communicate with, but their prices are really enticing.

Spydercovt.com has been very good also.
