Seriously, thanks for the contest.

I had my first Delica in the early 90's. It had the plastic clip. One day a friend of mine wanted to borrow my knife to cut some rope. I handed him the knife and he looked at me and laughed. He said he needed a knife, not a toy.

He quickly went to his truck and drew out his handy spear. He said "now this is a knife." He grabbed the rope and brought the knife down. As he drew down to cut the rope, the blade flew out of the handle of the knife and fell to the ground.

I picked it up trying not to die laughing. As I handed it to him I looked at the tang. Proudly displayed was a single word....... Pakistan.

I reached over grinning like a serial killer and just like butter the rope cut in half. He scratched his head and took the knife in his hand. Later that day he called me and told me that he bought one. Every guy needs a toy I guess. :D

I despised Spyderco and was upset at how many movies used Spyderco knives until I actually did some research and found out that Spyderco builds knives for knife nuts and steel nuts; now i almost buy Spyderco exclusively with over fifty Spyderco knives purchased so far - Spyderco is my all time favorite knife company.

Wow, exactly your 10th post, just the minimum required by the OP. Looks like you barely made it!

First of all, I'm sad if you have to go, but A man's got to do what a man's got to do...

oh, and my line would be:
Spyderco: they bring on the curves :)

Spyderco Dodo is the best EDC, I've been carrying mine constantly for over a year, and I just feel naked without it. Even if I have a another :spyder: with me.

And I'd like to exclude myself from this great giveaway, I want to give someone else a chance too, to discover the Spyderco curves :D

Take care and all the best knifebro, hope everything goes well.

Spyderco is best at what it does; makes things sharp and keeps things sharp.

Good luck in your new pursuits :spyder: bro

Cool giveaway AJ!
Have a great Xmas!

Hmm...

Spyderco is a company that follows the maxim, "form follows function" in perhaps its purest form of any of the major knife companies.

The description of the Spydercos as "Glocks" of the knife world is very apt - a complete innovation of the modern folding knife whose features have now been assimilated by many other manufacturers ;) .
