I like the idea of M4 better than S90V, but it's no big deal. BUT, what about LEATHER instead of kydex sheath? Maybe not "techy", but I really don't like plastic sheaths.

And would you consider putting metal bolsters on it?

The "NASA" version is essentially the same pattern and handle shape (which is very comfortable to use. Chris Claycomb did a beautiful job.) But we'll use a full flat S90V blade with a hi-tech synthetic handle, most likely carbon fiber.

Naturally we can't call is a "NASA" version in production. I think NASA would not appreciate it.

Wow, I was all excited until I saw the date and realized this is an old thread brought back to life. Be interesting to see if there is any update.

Although, I really like the contour of the handles on the BushCraft. An S90V FFG CF version would be A W E S O M E !

The Bushcraft has one of the most comfortable handles I've ever used. Even though the Southfork is S90V, the Bushcraft is a totally different knife. I would welcome another Bushcraft.

Who Cares about a name??!!

Hey they could call it "Creamcheese Delight" and I would still buy it  :D What the heck a blade and handle like that I truly wouldn't care much at all what name they decided upon. As much as I got my heart set on a Southfork I might just have to wait for this one instead

That is just really a great combo period!!

Spyderco is truly going to dominate the fixed blade market soon :spyder:

Hey Lucky, welcome to the forum.

This thread hasn't been active since January. It possibly deserves a bump since there is not much talk on this subject.

3V would make an interesting Bushcraft blade.
