One of the first Spyders I bought new was an SS Navigator that I got for $22. Real solid knife that has served well since I bought it and isn't going anywhere anytime soon. In terms of functionality that's one of the best deals I've ever gotten.
Ask me where I got my awesome SUPERHAWK!

More like Mid-Cal now

Jeff at CS threw in a free Ladybug SE with my Gayle Bradley. My local knife dealer threw in a free white SE Ladybug when I bought my Sebenza. 440v SE Military on craigslist for $80.00
Chinese Mule < $20.00 from Spyderco direct was a steal itself :)

Not stolen but a great deal from a few years ago - a NIB "R" PE and a NIB blue G-10 BladeForums Native PE as a package deal for $140. I doubt you'ld see a package like that for that price now.

A few years back I bought a NIB Spyderco Karambit on ebay for $60 with shipping and the seller emailed me asking if I wanted a second one for $50 more. Of course, I had to get both.

I also bought a black Goddard FRN CE new in box at a knife show for $35 last March.

My best steal was a brand new Pacific Salt for roughly 30 bucks, and this was when they first came out. That knife's still a beast.

Also bought a Chinook I (440V) for about 80 dollars and recently got a Police for 75 to my door. Not quite as stolen as my 30 dollar P. Salt, but whatever.

Wow. That's almost too good to be true.

I picked up a CF Stretch for $80, lightly used. Thought that was a steal.

I got a NIB Etched Spin for .98 with 5.99 shipping on eBay... thought it might be a fake, but it came today and it's the real deal. Not a model that I really wanted, but for that price I couldn't turn it down.

One Spydercard for 50$
It's a very rare piece in France but I don't know if it's the same in the USA.
One Massad Ayoob PE for 100$
One gunting traded against a bench dejavoo bought 80$
One vagabond for 8$
One karambit for 100$

But I have missed a lot of good deals.
Yesterday, I have missed one calypso for 70$

The one that really stands out is an OIF Native still in its packaging (and I've left it like that ever since) for $120.00, a rare item on the open market and despite various people offering more, the guy selling it stuck to our agreement.

I paid his asking price by the way.

From what he told me the behaviour of some people trying to get him to drop me as the buyer was disgraceful in its malicousness and intent; bought on BF.

All praise to this Seller for sticking to his guns, so to speak.

Regards,

BRIAN
