Here's a good question... no offense to SpydieCrew

We've all made posts about which spydies we praise... now here's one...

What spydie will be the last one you would buy, and why?

My choice? Shabaria, C59.

It just doesn't fit *my* hand. No matter what way you try to hold it, it's uncomfortable. I have the same problem with about 1/2 the knives out there, no matter what company.

I figure this should bring up some interesting posts.

We all start with 10 fingers. Those with Spydies have 9 to spare, Still need a thumb. Good thing I still have 8 to spare...

There are quite a few Spydies that I'd never buy. I'd have no use for a Harpy, Civilian, L'il Temperance, Bob Lum Fixed Blade or Tanto Folder, Chinook, Matriarch, Massad Ayoob, Khalsa, Shabaria, Merlin or Cricket.
I guess I'm just boring, but I don't like any of the "weird" Spydies.

I have lots of Spydercos, that's all I buy. I like the beauty of spydie blades, as well as the way they "melt" into your hand. But the Shabaria doesn't do it for me either.

I happen to very much enjoy the Shabaria, but thats mainly for the cultural heritage it comes from. But on the end of my list is another FRN Cricket. I think the hinge is too flimsy. I am up for a alumite cricket next, or if they ever got around to it, a G-10 and titanium lined one, like most all of benchmades are.

Like I posted elsewhere, the Native is not for me. Now the Shabaria is for me. I finally picked up a second one for EDC. For those of you who have a Shabaria and don't want it anymore, just mail them to me. I'll give them a good home.

Please don't hurt me when I say this... but........

**whispers** the delica

Yah, the knife looks just fine, but it feels as if the clip is designed to dig into my palm... and it just doesn't fit my hand

My 2 include the Shabaria and the Ayoob. While some people love this pair, I just dislike the appearance. Then again, one of you may hate one I love!

Keepin' it real...real sharp, that is.

The cricket. It's just too darn small. IMO, not much use for anything except as a box cutter. With the heightened security at airports, you can't even have the excuse that it's a socially acceptable knife.

If I wanted a small one, I'd get a Dragonfly or maybe a Salsa.
