Are any of these ultra fines still available? I would love a set. I looked on the website and did not see them....

I have been using my Sharpmaker for about 8 years now. It has sharpened more knives that I can even think of and still going strong. I worked in a Sports Unlimited store for a few years and mine lived in the hunting department and was used to sharpen everybodies' pocket knives, boxcutters and knives for customers for about 3 years straight.

Geek...

I just ordered a pair (or maybe two pair if the unit is not "each&quot<img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>. It's the third item in the Spydie Store under Sharpeners.
(Replacement Stone for 204 Sharpmaker Product ID: 204uf)

Good luck,
Gary

By the way to Spyderco... they were marked as "experimental"... did the experiment work or did it fail?

Thanks Spyderholic. I'll be eagerly watching the UPS tracking.

Revolvergeek, they're still showing up on the Factory Store. Product No. 204uf. Go for it.

Thanks for the heads up guys.
I just ordered a set. I think after they arrive I will have to put a warning sticker on my Calypso Jnr, it's already scary sharp.

BTW
Any news on the dimond stones for the 204 ?

For something small and to sharpen fishing hooks, I would think the half-sized Profile 702 would work well. It comes with a medium grit stick and a fine grit stick. Each stick has a groove in the middle, along the length of the stick, that you'd use the same way as you would on the 204 Sharpmaker (by sliding the tip down the groove while rotating it).

Ordered mine yesterday. I understand they are selling like hotcakes. Better get them while you can. I hope these make it into permanent production.
