Tee-hee Tee-hee
Sorry to bring this up.
But as I was looking at the back of the 2002 Catalog, I saw an error! <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>
For the Bob Lum Tanto FB the type "Spyderco AUS-8" and the Bob Lum logo are offset and misplaced.

I do not believe that your observation, "Tee-Hee," that 'the type "Spyderco AUS-8" and the Bob Lum logo are offset and misplaced,' is an actual mistake. It is more of an optical illusion or matter of perspective as the knives appear to have been digitally redrawn (enhanced) from the original photographs and then tilted at an angle in order to give them a 3D quality and dimension. When the knife is turned in respect to the viewer the foreground is shortened thus making the Bob Lum chop and Spyderco logo appear to be offset.

Hi Brian, Welcome aboard.
Actually, the photo came from the prototype which didn't have any engraving or stamping. The rest was done in the "building" of the catalog. Many of the pics in the catalog were made from protos as we couold not wait for production to make the catalog. Actually Olive and Eric May are to be commended for their excellent catalog.

Yes it is a great catalog, only one problem, which isn't really that big of a problem since I will own one whenever it comes out: The Harpy pictured isn't in plain edge <img src="tongue.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle> <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>
Thanks for the elaboration of the picture Sal <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>
