G-10 Crossbill Released Yet???

#1

Post by raven »

Hey All, I know this is a repeat question, but HAS THE G-10 BYRD CROSSBILL been released yet??? This question has been posed just a bit back, and I don't recall any specific answer or maybe no one has an accurate date just yet. I figured it would've been released already. I've been waiting for this model since I first heard about it ;) . Wanted the Super Hawk, but decided to save up for the Phoenix and Embassy ... or Possibly the smaller version of the Citadel (which available at knife center) :D . Thanks for listening, Take Good Care and Be Safe Always. Maybe Sal or Kristi will chime in and give a date ;) ???

BTW, If the date was released and I Missed It ...I Apologize. If someone can so kindly direct me to the thread I'd Appreciate It. Been kinda hit and miss on the forums lately ... Being A New Sgt. and Paperwork  ...BLAH!!!

God Bless All :)

Hi Raven,

I guess we're not always good at big announcements. We usually like to announce the availability of a new model or variation to our dealers so they have time to receive product and make it available.

I believe the G-10 Crossbill and the new G-10 "Raven" are in Golden. I'm carrying one of the new production Ravens today. I had a G-10 Crossbill at the Eugene show. Both are very nice pieces, and quite the bargain.

Shouldn't be more than a few weeks.

Hello Sal, THANK YOU MUCH FOR THE HEADS UP and the Info ;) . You always mangage to have a Big Announcement in the form of a HUGE Surprise Nobody Ever Expects and usually leaves us with our JAWS hitting the Keyboards, Drooling, and Our Eyes Popping Out  . Sounds like a scary sight doesn't it :D .

G-10 Raven......Hmmm??? Raven just might have to Get A G-10 Raven as a Promotion Gift to myself :p . Thank You Again Sal and all that You Do For Us Forumites ;) .

God Bless :)

I think I may have to get one of these.
First they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not stand up, because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Sal:

It looks like the Crossbill does not curve and hook at the tip like Spyderco hawkbills. Why not have the same curvature for the Byrd model?

Hi Gac,

We'll get there in time.

The decreasing radius of the Superhawk is harder to do in production than it might appear.

Just placed an order with New Graham. I hate paying $6.95 for shipping on a $25 item.

I ordered the serrated one. Next up on my ordering list is a serrated Tenacious from spydercovt.com or a used, fully serrated Police I have seen advertised online.

My G-10 Crossbill SE has arrived and is my newest EDC (until SuperHawk gets here, anyway).
